How do I add a date picker to my report for date range purposes?
Thank you.RS 2005 comes with a date picker. For RS 2000 you have to have your own
front end and not use Report Manager.

asp.net application that prompts for parameters and you have a date picker
there. Then you use either URL integration or web services to call the
report. I.e. your user never sees any of Report Manager, YOU provide the web
pages they interact with. This is not a trivial task and my advice is to
delay the date picker for a few short weeks. RS 2005 comes out beginning of
November (lauch in Nov 7th). If you have MSDN then you will be able to
download RS 2005. Note that RS 2005 can use a SQL Server 2000 database for
its object/metadata store. You have to have a 2005 license though. Still,
when you consider the time and effort to create your own web app instead of
using Report Manager I think it is an easy choice.
