Date picker controls - anyway to limit date range

Have seen other questions here about modifying date pickers supplied by reports created in BIDS. The answer is usually NO. But this does not involve a format change, simply want to limit say to a specific year.

Any ideas?

I do not know of a way as how we can limit to a particular daterange other than forcing the user with a messge after they run the report.

It will be good to know if there is a way to do this.

Seems to me not a big deal for MS SSRS team to add this in the parameter manager. After all, you can set defaults, why not a default range?

If you develop a front end for the reports using Visual Studio 2005, this is not very difficult.
